Mission

With the gospel of Christ as its foundation, Yu-Shan Theological College and Seminary was founded in 1946 to educate pastors and church workers for participation in the work of God's kingdom in the churches and communities of Taiwan's history1indigenous peoples.  By combining theology with an intimate understanding of their languages, culture, and society, Yu-Shan not only creates a unique learning environment intertwined with the real-life conditions of modern Taiwanese indigenous people that produces pastors and church workers well-adapted to bringing the Word of God to the indigenous community, but also represents an important driving force behind both the preservation and development of the indigenous community in general.
